Photography to me is a way of expressing myself in many ways. When taking photographs, I’m inspired by various artists, such as Annie Leibovitz. Leibovitz has a unique style where she tells a story through her pictures. It’s inspired me to try and look at photos in a different way, and try to find the story; and to try and capture the story in my photographs and everyday life. Instead of focusing on the model in the center, I try to use different angles and perspectives when taking a picture. Different compositions lead to different approaches and techniques. These vantage points, and different styles help the photo tell its story. I take pictures because it’s a way to express my feelings, and enables me to relive them in the future. My parents inspire me to take photographs whenever I have the chance because they love seeing my photographs. Taking Photography in school has helped me become the photographer I am today.
